When I started my running journey I could barely go a mile. (For those who don’t know me, I’m an old guy with a fused ankle.) Now, I’m training for a half marathon.
The first route I started on was from Runners Lane, our local running store to the bowling alley and back. That’s a little over 3 miles, which is now seemingly a short run that we do on Thursday’s. Last week we did it and as I always do, I slam that bowling alley sign at the halfway point as a symbol that I made it.
